If you're interested, I highly recommend early potty learning ("elimination communication" it's often called). I did it with Zoe and it was awesome. She took right to it, and all we did was hold her over the toilet (starting at about 3-4 months) and gently talked to her about what we were doing. If she didn't go pretty immediately, that was that, try again later. It was almost always successful first thing in the morning, and she got herself on a routine with pooping at that time and we didn't change a poop diaper past one year! I'm doing it with Neva now, too, and so far, so good. Lately I always give her something to hold when I put her on the potty, otherwise she squirms.
